I wanted to go bowling one day, so I went to my local bowling center. My dad saw a “now hiring” sign at the bowling center and because he had past experience in the trade, so he applied and got a job. He was a very accomplished bowler with over thirty 300 games and a handful of 800’s. With my father’s employee discounts and expertise as a bowler, I quickly found myself getting intrested in a sport where the “elements” are invisible. From there, I got into my first league and quickly discovered the Junior Bowlers Tour (JBT) where my passion for bowling really took off. When I got to know and bowl with my peers, it really got me into the sport at another level. I had quite a bit of success as a junior, but as I graduated high school and got introduced to the “real world” bowling got put on the back burner for a while. I have been back and bowling again for a few years now and am hoping to reach the same level of success that I experienced as a junior bowlers.
