I started bowling when I was 7 years old when I joined a youth league at Brunswick Zone Glendale. My first bowling ball was a 7-pound T Zone. My two brothers and I formed a team and spent each summer bowling at least once a week. I started my journey to competition with Junior Bowlers Tour Southwest. I bowled JBT for about 8 years and earned scholarship money. During my time, I captured 4 Handicap titles and plenty of good memories. After JBT, I bowled in college for GCU. I bowled for GCU for two years and really found my stride as an adult bowler. I grew into my skills and made friends with my teammates. Today, I try to average about 200 and I try to keep working on my game as much as I can. Overall, I am excited to work in the pro shop at Virtue and looking forward to the opportunity to work with great people and continue to work on my favorite sport.
Accolades:
High Game: 278
High Series: 753
2018-2019 AZ JBT Handicap Bowler of the Year
Favorite movie of all time and why?
My favorite movie of all time is Miracle. Miracle is a great inspirational movie and I like the movie because of Kurt Russell’s speech in the locker room and how the movie sends a message that overcoming something that seems impossible is possible.
I am a sports fan. I like all Arizona teams: Cardinals, Coyotes, Diamondbacks, and Suns. I am also a big Green Bay Packers fan. I love watching football and the biggest reason I like watching is fantasy football. I play every year and really work to build winning teams.
My favorite thing about my job is working with good people with similar interests. Virtue employees are great people to work with and I like being a resource to new bowlers for the game I enjoy the most.
