My bowling story starts at the age of 2, where i joined my very first league. I still have a newspaper clipping about a 3 year old averaging 79 and not bowling with bumpers. Bowling has always been a very large portion of my life starting so young. I truly have spent my entire life bowling and in a bowling center. From league to keeping score for my dads leagues. I still have the my first trophy I won and remember it being bigger then me. Growing up I reallly got to see the bowling world form a different perspective because of spending winter seasons here in Arizona and summers in New York. It was pretty cool to win state junior titles in both states. I had the privilege of being able to bowl a lot of different events as a kid. From small travailing leagues to long forgotten tournament like the Las Vegas invitational witch I’m proud to say I won way back in 1996. I’m sure most remember spending Christmas in Las Vegas but, I’ll always remember bowling my first 300 at the showboat. Through most of my teens I bowled jbt and most other junior tournaments and did well making scholarship money and helping to pay for college. I started my pro shop career in 2001, working for a few different shops part time helping the shop manager. When I turned 19 I joined the pba and had the chance to bowl and try and make real money bowling. I was a pretty good player, and was able to make many cuts and cashs along the way.  Unfortunately, in 2007 I was in a very bad car accident and it side lined me for quite sometime. I was working in a pro shop during that time and it allowed me to get into the teaching and technical side of bowling. During that time I had been working in and around pro shops for about 6 years, so it was nice to be able to find a place off the lanes that I could still be involved with the bowling community. I really enjoyed diving into ball reactions and what and how bowling works. I still do try to get out and get some bowling done. So, now getting to have a home at Virtue Bowling Supply has been a great place for me to be. We are always moving forward in an industry that’s always changing.
