STORE ASSISTANT – ON CALL – ALL LOCATIONS

Location: Floating – Assigned to east valley or west valley

Availability Needed: 3-8pm Monday through Friday. You won’t have to work all 5 days, but that availability is encouraged. Weekend availablity helps also.

Description: This is a vital role within our team. Store Assistants are trained and responsible for handling day to day responsibilities relative to customer experience. This includes things like drilling balls, fitting hands, plugging balls, and selling other products and services. Our on call team are utilized to help support an unexpected surge in business or to cover for a fellow team member. While your schedule isn’t always consistent, your benefits and discounts are consistently awesome! 

Duties: 

• Being responsive to messages and requests to see if you are available to work. 
• Making sure product is ready by due date. 
• Providing service to walk in customers. 
• Fitting customers for new bowling balls. 
• Being very comfortable with fractions and adding and subtracting fractions. 
• Store is presentable and prepared for the next day. 
• Merchandising and stocking products. 
• Drilling bowling balls and installing various gripping accessories. 
• Plugging balls, and preparing them to be re-drilled. 

Requirements

• No previous ball drilling or fitting experience required.
• Either currently an active bowler or previously bowled often. 
• A passion for bowling and a passion for learning about it.
• Reliable and organized.
• Friendly with good people skills. 
• Good communicator and can manage difficult conversations.

• Starting $12.50 an hour.
