Scott is one of our favorite kind of customer’s of the month. He was a first time Virtue customer! In his first visit with us, we found his PAP and talked about what kind of reaction he was looking for. We drilled a Track Lx05 65* x 3-3/4 x 35 and he proceeded to bowl his first ever 700 series! Scott works hard on his game and deserves every bit of the success! Thank you for letting us be a part of your success Scott!
Hokey Begay has been a customer of ours since the very beginning. He is a player that works really hard on his game and it has really shown in the last year. From bowling a lot of the SFT AHT events, he has taking a liking to the Track products. He was bowling on the sport pattern WTBA Paris, and bowled his first ever 300 game with a 912T! He not only bowled on it on a tough condition, but he did it during the quarter finals of the tournament!
Charlie bowls league at Brunswick Gilbert XL in the Construction Men's league. After bowling against VBS's own Josh Blanchard in the league he decided to come give us a try. We watched him bowl a little and talked about what he wanted to see out of his new bench mark ball. We decided to go with a Columbia 300 Antics with a 65* x 4.5 x 40* layout. For Charlie's style the ball gave him an aggressive but smooth and predictable ball motion.
We don't get to post enough about lower average bowlers bowling way over their average with bowling balls that they get drilled at VBS. It happens, but they just don't tell us enough about it. You don't have to bowl 300's and 800's to get a customer achievement post. If you bowl way over your average for your highest series ever, make sure you let us know about it! Darlene did just that!
It's not every day you get to drill a ball for a PBA bowler that appears on television and is written about in a variety of articles and blogs. Ben Laughlin has been known in the valley for a number of years as being one of the best if not the best bowler the state has to offer. He even made a run at the PBA tour full time during his prime. After a sequence of unfortunate physical ailments we were excited to see him make a run again at proving how great he really is.
Alexis Atkin is a very well known and accomplished female bowler on the west side of town. We are very grateful that she drives so far to come see us. We were very excited when we heard that she bowled her first ever 300 game with a Roto Grip disturbed that we drilled her. The ball wasn't finishing the way she wanted at first, so we suggested polishing it to help the ball store energy further down the lane. It happened to work well for her and she bowled her first ever 300 game!
Paul Wilkerson is a customer that drives all the way from the west side to see us. Customer's that drive past other pro shops to come see us is what makes our effort so rewarding. Paul came to us the first time looking for a new benchmark ball. We did what we always do with our first time customers, we took him out to the lanes!
George Dayton has been working on his game quite a bit since moving to Arizona from the east coast. He didn't get to bowl on a lot of sport patterns on the east coast, but was very excited to be in an area that demanded more versatility. He struggled at first on the sport patterns but has recently shown that there is some light at the end of the tunnel.
Aubree McKay is part of a big bowling family that we have grown to know and love. Daughter of Ted McKay and Kim McKay, she has recently picked up bowling and is working hard on her game. Her dad coaches her (when she allows him), and she has come a long way. She has recently picked up Josh Blanchard as a coach and filled out her bag with some new bowling balls and other equipment.
